Dear Yoga Therapy Clients,
I arrive at the realization that I must let go of my yoga therapy practice at Integrative Health Institute at this time. Unexpected circumstances lead me to make this decision, and with it comes a heart-warming sadness. As I write this letter, I take notice of my quickened breath and the heaviness in my heart. In my short tenure at IHI I have grown fond of the clinic, it's team, this incredible work and all of you. IHI is truly a unique place for healing and I have been sincerely honoured to have served alongside such caring healers.
I will continue to teach the Wednesday evening semi-private yoga class (Therapeutic Vinyasa at 7:15pm). I am grateful for Dr. Wiley's Loving support and understanding, and to have been a part of this team.
I will be continuing to offer yoga therapy sessions in the west end by appointment only at the Naturopathic Doctor's office (Dr. Kerri Lynn LaPointe) ~ 465 St John's Road. These sessions are by appointment only, please contact me to arrange.
In warmth, Meg
Do you ever feel that in an attempt to live your healthiest life you are pushing yourself to do more and more? No one has the power to squeeze 25 hours out of a 24 hour day. At some point we all need to prioritize our thoughts and actions and chose what is best for our individual health. If you are going to say "yes" to some healthy changes, chances are you are going to have to say "no" to people or tasks that drain your vital energy. "No" can take confidence and courage, but it is often the most empowering statement we can make.
